The Center for Trauma Therapy is out of network with all insurance plans.
As a courtesy, we can submit to your insurance company on your behalf for you to be reimbursed through Out of Network benefits. Alternatively, we can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company.
We are able to accept FSA and HSA cards. Sliding scale options may be offered based on individual need and therapist availability.
Initial Intake Session - 60 mins - $190
Individual Follow Up Session - 55 mins - $175
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
Checking Your Out of Network Benefits
Here are some tips to help you check if you have Out of Network (OON) benefits:
1) Log into your insurance company’s online portal and look for something that says “out of network benefits” or “out of network coverage.”
2) Call your insurance company directly and ask the representative the following questions:
“Do I have any out of network coverage?”
“What is my deductible for OON providers?”
“How much is my deductible and how much has it been met so far?”
“What will my reimbursement look like?”
